Animistic Travels
An animist cannot engage with all the beings during a trip as it would be overwhelming... so the prayer is "May the beings that my Soul needs to commune with make themselves known easily and effortlessly" - this may be plants, crystals, stones, elementals, angels - there is no limit. For now will focus on animals.
One being that touched me deeply is the black and white hawk/eagle (pizaetus melanoleucus)... every morning for a week I would watch it outside my window. I would feel peaceful just staring at it and watching it hunt. I honoured its diligence, patience, focus and ease of flight.
One morning as I was watching him, his spirit invited me to fly with him - then the merge happened for both of us... I was a hawk, he was a human. There were no barriers, just flight, love and understanding. This feeling of merging with an animal that you have been observing in the wild is indescribable. This is everyone's DNA birthright.
The hawk came to me as I was writing about the Law of Polarity for another group - the black and white colours were not lost on me. "Fly above polarities and you are free".
Every animal has a specific message for you, you can look it up on google or you can learn to truly listen.
"Enjoy the solitude and the vastness of this beautiful planet. Cherish your incarnation. Disconnect from the energies of the collective to let your Soul soar. Mother earth always provides everything you need."
He told me to go to a restaurant and ask for the specific fish that he likes - a type of snapper local to the area. I did and invited him to feast with me. He has good taste.
The next day a raccoon appeared. Notice both animals have "masks" - the year of the Snake was huge for me in terms of being able to perceive the masks of others and my own hidden masks.
So much had to go, a complete rebirth eventuated. We are going through a painful collective unmasking as we need greater discernment to move forward fearlessly. Most of my work teaches discernment over time... this takes years for people to learn as so much deprogramming has to take place.
One is never alone on an animistic path, the rewards are worth all the hard work, blood, sweat and endless tears of returning to your innocence. It's crazy that we have to do so much work to get back to our original essence but that is how disconnected we are as a species. Thank you to the Animal Kingdom for helping us reconnect again.
