The Fire Horse Made Me Do It

A few months ago, the Fire Horse Spirit came to me and said:

“You’d better start working on the ceremony.”

I laughed. “There’s months to go,” I said. “Why so early?”

He said:

“Because I want you to write an Oracle deck.”

I blinked. A deck? For a one-off ceremony? I was busy. I wasn’t sure. I argued back - “There’s already Horse decks out there.”

He replied: “I want one with the energy of now.”

Ah. That’s when I realised, as a Water Rat, there is no bargaining with the Horse. Only action. So I said yes. And as I began creating the cards, more came through…

Instead of writing long blurbs that no one reads (I’m guilty — I just tune in and go), Horse told me:

“Create a dowsing chart instead — show them the Light and Shadow of each card.”

That way, each person receives a personalised message every time.

Clean. Clear. Precise. Genius. Done.

And so here it is… My labour of love, in honour of the Fire Horse:
