The spirits that engage with you are a direct reflection of your energy field. The minute you open up to the spirit world, you attract who you are. If you are deeply wounded and in constant shadow, you will attract a lot of astral shadowy beings.
This isn't to scare you, it's to empower you.

Unhealed wounds and lack of training do.
CLEARING DECADES OF RELIGIOUS PROGRAMMING:
I grew up Catholic, Jehovah's Witness, and Seventh-day Adventist. I had decades of religious programming to clear before I understood this. "Anybody who is in connection with spirit has basically not been prayed over by their parents and is in communication with demons." I have been hearing this my whole life.
When I started Qigong training, my partner said when you feel energy in your hands, that's the demon entering your hands. I would go to Qigong class and be in a complete panic that I was going to become fully possessed.
We all have that witch wound in us. All of us. That fear of persecution. Especially if you come from a bloodline that genuinely has a lot of magick in it, because that fear is ingrained in the bloodline.
SPIRIT IS A REFLECTION OF YOUR ENERGY:
The minute you start speaking to spirit, spirit is a reflection of your energy, your consciousness. If you are deeply wounded, in constant shadow, the spirits that are going to connect with you are going to be shadow beings.
The ones who spoke to higher beings, who were they? The prophets. The priests. The ones that put in a lot of work to ensure they were not communing with the dark side.
People need a good 5, 6, 7 years of discernment training, getting to know themselves, before they become a medium, before they clear entities. They don't have the vessel to do that, and so they get in trouble.
BECOMING THE GIRL AT THE BAR:
In the spirit world, I am the girl at the bar that's just not looking at anyone. If you want to have a relationship, you come to me. I am not going to be chasing, I am not going to be desperate. Because then you get a really high quality spirit.
I stopped chasing, I stopped going in hungry and needy. And the spirits who came to me? They were worth talking to.
THE REAL ISSUE WAS NEVER WHETHER SPIRIT CONNECTION IS REAL:
It was always whether you have the vessel, the training, and the discernment to meet what comes. The best protection on this path isn't a ritual, it's your vessel.
