The responses to a well known teacher/author's passing have left me genuinely disturbed.
I don't know her work and can't speak to her teachings or her legacy. But I know this: a Soul has crossed over, and what I'm seeing online is not okay.
People judging her, criticising her, using her name to sell their offerings within days of her death. Leveraging her crossing for reach, for relevance, for whatever it is they need.
This is not spirituality. This is not consciousness. This is the shadow of a community that hasn't reckoned with its own relationship to death.
A SOUL THAT HAS JUST CROSSED OVER IS NAVIGATING ONE OF THE MOST PROFOUND JOURNEYS A BEING CAN TAKE:
The death realms are not a place for your opinions and content—they are absolutely not a marketing opportunity.
THE DEAD DESERVE OUR RESPECT:
Not because they were perfect. Not because we agreed with everything they did or said. But because they were human, because their Soul is in process. Because it is not our place to judge what we cannot see and do not understand. Humans cannot judge another Soul—that is not our job here.
IF YOU ARE A HEALER, A PRACTITIONER, OR A TEACHER, THIS MATTERS EVEN MORE FOR YOU:
The way you treat the dead reflects exactly how you hold the living.
Let her cross in peace. Let her Soul move through its healing without your projections attached to it.
This is the work. Not the talking about it, but the ability to contain your projections and let another Soul be.
If you cannot respect another Soul during its death process, then you cannot respect the Souls of the living.
Much love always,
