It’s normal at the beginning of our journey to play “dress up” – put on the clothing, get all the accessories and emulate our teachers. I refer to this as “colour by numbers” or “cut and paste” spirit work.

Yet every seasoned spirit worker I know remembers the moment when they realised that they were truly in it and the days of playing “dress up” were gone.

I nearly drowned twice as a youngster – once in a river in Nicaragua and the second time in the Gold Coast 'Wet & Wild' wave pool as a teenager. The second incident was so embarrassing – I never lived it down in high school!

Soul alignment signifies a conscious return to the Ocean of Great Spirit... the Soul, like a river, swells, meanders, splits and comes back to itself, finally cascading into the Ocean in the  most glorifying union of LOVE, which is the union we are all deeply craving.

Today a participant in one of my groups challenged a long held belief about a subject and presented new and better information. 

When this happens, instead of getting triggered, allow the new belief system to be in your energy field and consider it.  Don't discard it immediately out of pride or ego.

We are so used to the rat race that we habitually embody it, to the point that we bring it to self work and spirituality.
