We are bombarded daily with the evil in this world. Most of the time, we start to feel the shock but we look away. It is easier to pretend it is not happening.

The clients who matched your old wounds disappear first, then the relationships start to shift, your face changes, and your dreams go somewhere else entirely. This is what actually happens when your consciousness changes, and nobody warns you.

When I became a spirit worker I was so naïve, I thought everyone in the spiritual industry was “love and light”.  Looking back, it’s actually a bit embarrassing to share how wide eyed I was.

I blindly trusted, supported and shared everything I had with others, thinking we were all one big community working toward the same thing. 

Picking up an animal totem because it's trending, using it for marketing and then dropping it like a hot potato is not ideal.
Yesterday, the Horse came to me and shared something quietly: "most of those people are gone."

Everyone and their dog was excited about the Fire Horse at the start of the Chinese New Year.

I was initially drawn to Sharon’s work as an expansion of my work at the time; I didn’t expect that, 4 years later, I would still be learning and inspired to keep unravelling all parts of myself whilst continuing to grow as a practitioner.

I signed up for Sacred Space Weaver in 2020, and due to the ever-extending state lockdowns, I couldn’t travel from NSW to Victoria until 2022.

I have loved Michael Jackson since I was a kid. I could feel his pain and purity. I loved his work ethic and admired his creativity. But somewhere along the way I also started believing the gossip and labelled him "another dark person".

Over the weekend I watched "Michael" and my Soul voice whispered, "Michael is innocent".

A decade ago I let a camera stay in a ceremony space when every part of me knew it shouldn't be there. My assistant was filming participants mid release, capturing tears, breakthroughs, the raw in between moments, and I said nothing. That choice stayed with me ever since.

What I know now is that cameras don't just change the mood of a sacred space, they change the entire energetic field.

This path attracts equal attack to support. I have watched it happen consistently enough now that I have stopped being surprised by it.

King Solomon was once approached by a merchant speaking unkindly. His guards moved in to remove him and Solomon said, "leave him alone, everyone is a messenger."

Being the one in the room who has no awareness of their own shadow means the shadow runs the room.

I have been her, most of us in this work have, if we're honest.

The field doesn't let you hide forever though. It keeps sending you the same situations, the same reactions, the same people until you stop pointing outwards and ask the only question that actually changes something: is this mine?

If your business is growing more slowly than it should, the answer is almost never more strategy.

For spirit workers, the blocks are always deeper; operating outside Universal Law, letting ego lead where Soul should, fighting a winter season instead of moving with it, carrying ancestral wounding that's still running the show, or doing this work from a place that isn't embodied.

The Practitioner of the Month of May is the beautiful Sandra Del Papa

I am so blessed I get to journey with phenomenal Souls over the years and Sandra is one of those light workers. Sandra is a gift to the space and a very gifted spiritual healer who touches her clients' hearts deeply. I am grateful to receive messages from people who have been touched by her work.

I have talked a lot in my work about how releasing judgment has been a fundamental part of my ongoing practice. I have seen so many spiritual blessings because of this.

What I've Learned Training Spiritual Practitioners Over 15 Years

Fifteen years of training spiritual practitioners. Some became the teachers the spirit world desperately needs. Others became the exact thing I taught them not to be.

The ones who succeeded at being genuine teachers chose to do the deep work. They understood that spiritual power is responsibility, not privilege.

The Practitioner of the Month for April is the lovely Katie Anderson. Katie is a rare Soul gem with a beautiful ethereal energy. She is a gifted space holder and teacher. She is an accredited Wheel of Alchemy and The Empress & The Dragon teacher, runs regular ceremonies for her community and has a thriving clinic.

Every therapist, every coach, every self-help book told you the same thing: heal your attachment wounds, do the inner child work, learn to regulate your nervous system, and the right person will finally stay.

You have done all of it. You even threw in 20 plant medicine ceremonies for good measure, a dating coach, and a $10k makeover, and nothing seems to be working.

There is something that has been sitting with me, and I have to say it.

I have noticed a pattern lately of spiritual practitioners publicly criticising other spiritual practitioners online, and I want to offer a perspective that may not be comfortable to hear.

Have you ever noticed that you never see the dark workers doing this? The ones who are genuinely operating in shadow, in manipulation, in harm are not on Instagram calling each other out because they are too busy doing their work.

I have watched this happen for nearly ten years.

The practitioner who arrives competent and capable yet quietly hollow underneath. The one who has done all the trainings, holds space beautifully for everyone else, and privately wonders why their own work feels like it has lost its pulse.

You became a practitioner because you felt the call so deeply it was impossible to ignore.

You did the work on yourself first, the way all good healers do, and you built an intelligent, compassionate relationship with the parts of you that learned to hide.

And something shifted anyway, quietly, in the wrong direction.

The EGO is leaky and uncontained, The SOUL is contained and shares with love.

Energetic leakiness has its roots in trauma and we leak energy when we haven’t found our internal power and haven’t had any energetic training.

You’re exhausted because you’re holding what isn’t yours.

For as long as you can remember, you’re the one who anchors the room. You are the one people come to with their issues. You are the one that can handle it when others collapse... and so you continue doing it.

You hold emotions, projections, stories and complexity. Not because you have to, because you can.
